The berries of the Elder plant are often consumed (Elder Berries) but the flowers deliver additional benefits unique to their constituents! (Personally, I prefer to use the berries for daily immune support, and the flowers for stronger immune boosting after exposure.) The flowers have stronger medicinal properties. Elder flowers provide a delicate and subtle taste, while marjoram dominates this flavor with a floral freshness. Marjoram has an amazing ability to balance the system and reset the detox pathways, leading to decreased pain from inflammation, restored hormones, and increased vitality. I chose this flavor for the nutritional and medicinal possibilities.
